GCM is fund of funds that does some direct investing. Decent name but not top tier for infra.
Their direct infra team is smaller/newer vs their main FoF business. Less deal flow than dedicated infra shops.
Good stepping stone but you'll probably want to lateral to a pure-play infra fund later if that's your goal.
Comp is fine, not amazing. Work-life balance probably better than traditional PE.
Worth interviewing but keep looking at other infra options too.
