Does anyone know how family offices, pensions/insurance companies/other large LPs with direct investing arms recruit (looking for Northeast US)? Are there headhunters focused on this niche? Are there any specific pensions/family offices/other large LPS with direct investing that have a good reputation?
I've worked in MM PE for 5+ years and am now looking for more WLB with high enough cash compensation (I hear 20% haircut to PE is expected at these types of organizations which sounds good to me and that normalizes over time as you get more senior).
