IB to PE/Quant/MF

I currently have a SA offer at a top BB for this summer. I can graduate early and begin working after the summer. Is it possible to get a top PE/MF or even a Quant offer for next year? Or, is it too late and the recession may make this even worse?

Instead of doing IB full-time, I'd rather work at a more intellectually simulating vertical of finance and I'm open to a high-paying job at either of the 3. But, is it possible to get a job that starts in August at this point?
