Bit of a random bump but as the first reply notes, WCAS has been one of the top healthcare players in PE for awhile now. They've had their ups and downs given they're just such an old firm (founded in 1979) but seems the latest iteration in firm/team has been performing well. They also just raised their largest ever fund earlier this summer. I'd say they're viewed as a safe pair of hands and also known to have good culture.
