Interviewing While Busy at Current Job

Hola monkeys,

What are your guys' experience with interview/job seeking while you are slammed at your current job? I am sure there are quite a few of you that have found a new gig while cranking 70-80 hour weeks.

I am beginning my search at the busiest time of year, but it makes sense with respect to timing of YE bonus. Any insight is helpful.

Cheers

By the fifth sick day, some associate will get smart and say, "wow you got over your [3rd case of] mono really fast." Throw in a food poisoning or two towards the end to avoid this and you should be fine.

Forgot to mention: religious / family functions that happen mid-day are huge to explain being out of contact at 3 PM on a Wednesday. This stops your team from blowing up your phone / email in the middle of a super day.
