jpm pe exits by group

currently in group placement process - does anyone know of the recent PE exits from each of jpm's major groups (specifically M&A, Tech, M&C, FIG, FSG, HC), or how they would stack up to each other in terms of MFPE placement? still trying to figure out my ranking and would appreciate any info

You’ll get interviews at most of the MF PEs from any of those groups you mentioned.

I was in JPM M&A for 2 years, then went to a MF and now I’m at UMM fund, post MBA.

The one group I would least recommend is FSG. They don’t really do much modeling, and are more of a relationship banker with the coverage and product groups doing the technical work. Not sure if that’s changed since I was there.

You’ll still get looks from MF PEs in FSG group. I know people who got into Carlyle from those groups.
