Key things to look at / ask about for a SaaS growth equity investment?
Got asked this recently and I answered the following:
-revenue growth -margin -profitability -some key SaaS KPIs -what will the new round of funding be used for? -how can the growth equity fund be of help?
I’m curious what yall would add / exclude. I’m trying to formulate a more structured response while hitting all of the main points. Appreciate the help!
retention metrics, cross-sell/up-sell/down-sell, rule of 40 (rev. growth % + ebitda margin), recurring vs. non-recurring revenue, TAM, adjacent market opportunities, organic/inorganic growth opportunities
