LMM PE Corp Dev Associate Comp

I was recently approached by a headhunter for a Corp Dev Associate role at a LMM PE PortCo in the facilities maintenance space. Typical buy and build roll-up strategy. My background is 1 year at a BB IB and 2 years in a MM Special Sits role. I am interested in the role given it gives me the opportunity to return back to my home state. I will be working directly with the head of Corp Dev at the platform (newly hired; previously BB IB and strategic/M&A at a large Corp) so it will just be me and him reporting to the PE.

I know I am looking at a decent pay cut from my current role but curious if (i) anyone can provide any guidance on total comp target for this kind of role and any future growth trajectory? (ii) Is equity part of the comp discussion for an Associate role? (iii) any comp survey links I can use to justify the comp.

Thanks

Former CD for LMM PE portco. Total comp should be close to $150k assuming LCOL city. Very rare to see equity at the associate level.

The real growth opportunity for a role like this is you do a couple deals, maybe stay through exit then take a VP of CD for another PE backed portco where comp will be $300k + $1-2m of equity.

Lion Equity Partners puts out a pretty detailed CD comp report every year.
