PE Advisory Compensation
Hi all,
I’m less than a year into my new advisory role where I work with a PE client and manage one of their portfolios full time.
I’m curious as to if there is some sort of industry average for compensation as a % of revenue or something similar.
For example, say our company charges the PE firm a fee of $500,000 a year. Aside from ad hoc work or large requests, I perform 95% of the services. If I’m currently paid a base of say, 100K annually, is it fair to ask for 25% of the fee when it comes time for my annual review?
I tried to research the forums and other sources but couldn’t find any information. If anyone has first hand experience or helpful sources, please let me know.
Thank you all.
