Just wondering if anyone had a list or knows of which firm is offering full-time PE analyst roles for 2026. And what the recruiting timeline looks like for that

Based on the most helpful WSO content, full-time Private Equity (PE) analyst roles are relatively rare and highly competitive. Recruiting timelines for these roles can vary significantly depending on the firm. Historically, some firms like Insight Partners have started recruiting for analyst roles quite early, even a year or more in advance of the start date. For example, postings for 2022 analyst roles were seen as early as December 2020.
The process for PE analyst recruiting is often ad-hoc and not as standardized as investment banking. Some firms may begin outreach through headhunters or direct postings, while others may rely on networking and referrals. It's also worth noting that many PE firms prefer candidates with prior investment banking or consulting experience, which makes direct analyst roles out of undergrad less common.
For a more detailed and updated list of firms offering full-time PE analyst roles for 2026, you might want to monitor forums like Wall Street Oasis or reach out to recruiters specializing in private equity. Additionally, keeping an eye on job postings from firms like Insight Partners, Blackstone, Bain Capital, and other top-tier PE firms could be helpful.

Of the megafunds/large cap, boils down to Blackstone, KKR, Warburg, Vista, Bain, Silver Lake (may be discontinued), and Warburg
Don't be boring. There's also Insight, Battery, Brighton Park, AKKR, Summit, there's more, but that's off the top of my head.
Culture wise, Bain and Insight are probably the best. Not that the others are bad per se but I just know everyone at either of those firms are typically pretty happy. Insight has strong analyst promotion rates. Either firms might have a team or two with high turnover but generally speaking it's a nice set up.
