PE Operations Associate Roles
A few questions:
What does comp look like for an entry-level role right out of college? Are bonuses (if any) attracted to portco performance / exits?
Is it possible to get an operations associate role right out of college with no IB experience?
What does career progression in a role like this look like? Track to C-Suite at a PE-backed portfolio company? Also, is there even a possibility of switching from operations to a deal team sometime during your career (not that it matters, just wondering)?
Also, wondering what recruiting for these roles looks like? Just networking / talking to recruiters / headhunters? Any formal application process? Wondering if it differs at all from the recruiting process for a traditional PE (deal team) associate.
Any insight is appreciated
