long story short, they dont have money
anyone else been in this situation? they cant raise any more money, and im trying to find a job but this just seems like a ship sinking faster than i can get off...its scary and stressful, any words of advice?
im not asking too many questions because im still getting a pay check every 2 weeks so im just not working as hard if there's no future at this firm and instead putting my energy into interview prep / sending my resume out to literally everyone

Was at a firm winding down (300mm fund size) and moved to an up and coming firm (3bn fund size). Keep hustlin cuz.

In the same boat – the combination of a terrible job market and subpar reps (due to my firm winding down) is making it hard to get any traction with other firms.
what sector/stage are they in out of curiosity? Heard some sectors have been having a lot of trouble more than other.

You make it sound like this is going pretty quickly. I had always thought firms took 'years' to wind down portfolios (maybe this one is like in the final stages of wind down?) Would be interested in any more info. Good luck!
