SF IB to NYC PE
I'm going to be an incoming analyst at a BB Tech IB Group in SF, and I was wondering if it would still be possible to recruit for PE firms in NYC?

Go read the Chicago thread and make some inferences. Try to be more resourceful -- generally a good skill to have as an analyst / for life in general.

If it's a GS TMT/MS Tech M&A Menlo then you will get headhunting opps at NY PE considering they're some of the top groups, but will be hard to interview during work. Will let someone else comment on other groups, but they probably do not get remotely close to the amount of NY headhunting opps as the aforementioned shops.
