Status of 2026 PE Recruiting (Sept. 2024)
Given that nobody truly knows what is going on, I wanted to start a post as a broad status update. It looks like a lot of firms are doing info sessions and HHs are scheduling catch up calls. Comment if you know of any firms kicking off interviews or any other process updates. I’ll keep a running list here:

FWIW, recruiters are saying current market is pretty one-off and don't expect much more 2026 activity before year-end. Expected to pick back-up in January/February.
Apparently first wave (July/August) filled minimal seats (like 75-100 nationwide).
