It's weird that you refer to them (or they refer to themselves?) as growth equity because they're basically a Series B/C focused venture firm. In terms of the implications of this, they're a big-time "growth at all costs" kind of investor, cutting $20-50M checks in sexier / higher-flying businesses. More disciplined than say a Softbank or Tiger, but I'm still skeptical that this strategy will yield sustained good outcomes when you're no longer in a historic crazy bull market for tech.

I'll also add that the returns info above (as it would be for any tech-focused fund in Q4 2021) is likely grossly inflated based on paper markups that I wouldn't expect to hold in the current market climate. 

Their office in Meatpacking is pretty cool though.

And I'll caveat all of the above by saying that the guy I know there is one of the most self-important douchebags I've ever met, so that may be coloring my view on the firm slightly.
