Veteran / Non Traditional PE/Private Credit Post MBA Roles
Other than the MINT Program, know any names that actively recruit veterans for PE/PC roles? I know its a tough jump, but curious if any of the larger firms have training programs. Thanks
You could technically try to get a slot on JPM’s PE group as a part of your rotation in their military pathway program.
And candidly speaking - the majority of MINT candidates get placed in non-PE oriented roles. It makes less sense to throw a bullet catching rock-eater on the front lines of the buyside vs the sellside.
BlackRock on the other hand does have an annual veteran-specific hiring round for Private credit. You essentially get hired to be an off-cycle intern for a couple of months as a trial period, and get a FT extension if you’re not a total bag of dicks.
