Very consistent, boring returns. Very few zeroes, but very few 3x+ times deals as well. Good at not losing money.
big question there right now is the senior leadership turnover. Civantos was the guy, but he left a year or two and is running MSD now. Add a couple other departures to that and you’re left with a tough fundraise and a lot of go forward questions.
Middle market guys, maybe a bit lower with the new fund size
Actually disagree with the above. Think it’s a great firm with long history of success. Consistent top quartile returns and growing in the tech space from what I can tell. Great UMM contender
For whatever reason a bunch of Court square alums in post-MBA VP+ PE - would think it's pretty well respected. Can think of Apollo x2 / Ares / CVC.
Most recent fund size is down 40% versus last and had 4 prominent ppl leave. Can sit here and hypothesize about how good their reputation is, but those are facts.
