What Is The Most Shameful Thing You Would Do To Land MF PE Job Offer?

Let's be honest, most of you (if you could get away with it) would be willing to suck Partner D*ck to land PE jobs at BX, KKR. Or at the very least, you would atleast seriously consider it.

Half-joking, what's the most shameful thing you would to do land one of these gigs?

lol i really dont understand why people (especially younger) are so obsessed with MF PE. Finding a good MM/LMM firm with a decent culture, WLB and path to partner is worth so much more in the long run. Look at how many people burn out after 2 years at MF and run off to a startup or CorpDev (not saying thats bad at all just saying that's the most likely path)

Preach. Or if you want the type of deal process quality and potentially some PrEsTiGe go find a former MF partner/sector head that's started their own fund and go there. Speaking from experience, you can get a lot of the relational upside with somewhat more bearable hours + better chance of seniority progression.
