Where are all the KKR Infra PE Associates?
I looked on Linkedin and genuinely can not find a single Infra Associate at KKR. LinkedIn is just full on Principal's and up. Is this some kind of policy at KKR where you cant list it on your LinkedIn?
They’re probably just not specifying infra and trying to pass off as corporate PE. Was in a MF Infra group and everyone junior was trying to pass off their experience as such to lateral to PE or HF
how was your experience? Wondering if it's banking 2.0 / process monkey or you felt you were developing the "investor mindset".
It was fine. I didn’t feel infra was for me and so pivoted out. Not sure any asc program teaches you an “investor mindset”, you’re just a warm (smart) body to do whatever is thrown your way
this just sucks to hear as someone interested in Infra PE.
Bump, why is Infra not it
No one is saying that Infra is not it. It’s just easier to leave your specialty out of your LinkedIn so you’re not pigeonholed if you decide to recruit again. If you want to stay in Infra and lateral somewhere, you just tell the HH “oh I was in the infra group,” whereas if you just have it right off the bat and you decide you wanna do tech you’ll get written off, vs just being a normal PE associate.
