Got let go from my job last month. LMM PE fund let go all junior staff.
None of the guys I worked for seemed very successful or happy (all ex-tier 1/2 levfin bankers). It didn't seem like many of their peers were either.
As I start to think about my next steps, I'm curious if anyone (excluding the outliers) in finance actually makes great money? If so, who? And is it worth it?
