Is WARWICK worth it
Should I REALLY pay £26k a year to attend Warwick?
I'm an EU student fucked by the new brexit uni fees. I wouldn't feel so bad about the fees if it was Oxbridge or LSE but i have my doubts about Warwick. Unfortunately, I didn't apply to any continental European target unis either, so my only other choice is to take a gap year and reapply to Oxbridge and LSE, as well as European targets.
the other thing is are places like RSM, ESADE, Bocconi, St. Gallen, etc, comparable to UK universities for IB recruiting? especially if you don't speak German/Dutch/local language etc.
Also a lot of the European universities are 4 years, plus the gap year... 5 years feels like a lot, and then the need for a Masters is probably higher too...

edit (additional info): i do speak French and Spanish (im not native though), so maybe useful for recruiting from Spanish unis, but definitely not french schools, as i wouldn't be able to get into the engineering undergrad schools.
Hard to say, obviously Oxbridge would 100% be worth it from both a student life and recruiting POV, LSE for recruiting but not for student life, Warwick kinda 50/50 on both. It also depends on what course you're doing, there's been some debate on how Warwick is only really targeted for WBS and Maths courses outside of diversity pipelines. For example if you're on Warwick MORSE/Maths then there's really no need to reapply imho, if its anything else I'd at the minimum try get UCL since UCL seems to be targeted for everything moreso than Warwick. Also if you reapply and don't get into LSE/Oxbridge you're a bit fucked as you've wasted a year; this will largely depend on how competitive the course is though. Mind sharing the degree?
I have an offer for econ. I'd imagine an econ degree would at least be on par with a Business degree for recruiting though right? And ofc, LSE/oxbridge would be a big risk, and to end up having to do a 4 year course at a European uni or reapplying to warwick after having wasted a gap year isn't very desirable.
Degree doesn't matter in UK recruiting if at a target, econ at WW is fine tbh

Not much of a difference for BB/EB total between WW and something like Oxford though there might be more applicants.
