Leave National Merit/High School on Linkedin?
Will be graduating from a T20 this year and working in IB and was wondering if I should leave National Merit Finalist/or high school in general on my LinkedIn or if that is immature at this point. It would look like this:
University XXX
BA, Economics, summa cum laude
High School XXX
National Merit Finalist
Or is it best to remove high school altogether?
Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's generally recommended to remove high school information from your LinkedIn profile once you've graduated from college, especially if you're entering a professional field like investment banking. Including high school details, such as being a National Merit Finalist, can come across as immature or unnecessary at this stage in your career.
Focus on showcasing your college achievements (e.g., summa cum laude, T20 school) and any relevant professional experiences or skills. Keep your LinkedIn profile clean, professional, and forward-looking to make the best impression on recruiters and colleagues.
