MSF Programs for Psychology Undergrad
I recently graduated from NYU with a B.A. in Psychology and a 3.9 GPA. I have limited experience in any business-related fields, other than having taken a summer course at LSE and doing a summer internship as a research assistant at a strategy consulting firm in London. Currently I am working as a content assistant at a Chicago-based web consulting firm, but honestly my duties are monkey-work.
I'm interested in applying for Masters of Finance or Masters of Management Programs and I'd appreciate any advice as to which programs are the best. As I mentioned, not much business experience but I do have an interest in Healthcare Consultancy and Non-Profit Organization Management. I'm very interested in programs such as Duke's because of the internship placements.
I'd also appreciate any reading suggestions to help me get more familiarized with different industries. Thus far I have been advised to read Barbarians at the Gate and Liars Poker. Are there any classes that I should consider taking at a local university or community college (Chicago-based) that would better prepare me for the MSF/MMS Programs?

Take Intro to Accounting; Intro to Finance/Corporate Finance; Micro/Macro Economics; Read Investment Banking by Rosenbaum and Pearl; I made a ranking of MSFs, also do you have a GMAT score yet?
I'm taking the GRE in a couple of weeks so I don't have a score yet to see where I stand in terms of previous applicant statistics. I am aware of the advantages of taking the GMAT over the GRE from an admissions standpoint and also that some programs only accept the GMAT.
You mentioned you made a ranking of MSFs. Where can I find this information?
check out coursera.org. There are completely free classes from the best universities in the country (harvard, wharton, mit, etc.). They don't count for credit or anything like that, but it has the advantages of a class without any of the cost and class time requirements of traditional classes. I've taken a couple classes and really liked them. There are several business classes and most of them are intro classes.
Brush up on some basic finance and read the WSJ. You are fine and will be accepted into most MSF/MMS programs.
If you want to stay in Chicago I would go to WUSTL MSF. Lots of Chicago opportunities there.
