Northwestern vs Georgetown vs Ross vs Vanderbilt

I'm deciding between four schools for undergrad and would really appreciate some insight, especially from those in finance or IB. My options are: Michigan Ross, Northwestern (Weinberg Econ), Georgetown (McDonough), and Vanderbilt (Econ/possibly HOD). I’m targeting investment banking (NYC ideally) and want to keep doors open for consulting or product management long-term. Prestige, OCR, alumni network, and overall placement into top firms are big factors. I also care about campus vibe, student life, and location (NYC access is a plus). Ross seems quite strong for NYC IB, but I’m unsure how it stacks up vs. the brand/placement of Northwestern, Vandy, or Georgetown. Would love to hear real talk on where I’ll have the best shot at breaking in. Thanks!

Imo it’s Northwestern - Michigan for IB, vandy for consulting or healthcare - Georgetown

But some caveats are that vandy places better into healthcare than any of them and better in the south, Michigan may have a stronger finance network than NW in NY at this point (it is massive and they help each other), Georgetown used to be more of a consulting/politics/etc school, but they’ve made up some ground in recent years and is likely the best choice for being in DC. Obviously NW is excellent for Chicago exits.

I would go with Georgetown. It’s not as prestigious at Northwestern overall, but for NYC IB, it’s definitely better. MBB Northwestern has the edge though. Ross is 1 step below, and Vandy is two steps below.
