Transferring to Semi Target?

Hi I will be transferring after I complete 1 or 2 years of community college. My original plan was just to transfer to a top 50 business school, which would be no problem, however, im thinking it would be better just to go to a semi target. I can maintain a high GPA and participate in trading and finance clubs. My goal is to become a very good proprietary trader. What Semi target college should I look at, or maybe even easy transfer target school? doing a search online, i can not find a comprehensive list of semi target schools. Please help a fellow trader out.

Perhaps, just for networking, I can go to a lower ranked university for my BBA. Then do internships and get an entry level position in S&T, high GMAT scores, and good recommendations from professors. I could then go to a top MBA school? I just want to network, so one day, i can land a trading position at a hedge fund, which is MY dream. I have hunger, no feelings, and street smarts. Not to mention im pretty poor, i have to pay for my own education and clothing on my back!

Have you tried cold calling Mr. Gekko's office for an internship?

In all seriousness though, you should just focus on doing well in school and trying to get into the best university you can after a couple of years of CC. I'm sure if you're as poor as you say you will likely get a great financial aid package from a top university, so money should not be too large a factor in your decision.

Also, you sound like kind of a dick. You should work on that.

Good luck.

actually, im a high school drop out, now thats semi-juxtapose. Also, no feeling means i don't care if i win or lose, i trade and don't let emotions influence my trades, like most, and this is why i have an average annual return of 57.8% for the past 5 1/2 years! But hey its all just luck right? lol

In all seriousness, my personal trading account is just that, but i need a career. I just figured it would be best to do something im passionate about, which is trading. I started with only 2K, so im nowhere near my goal. My skills can make other people profit too, thats why i want to get into hedge funds, but i have to start at a prop firm and prove myself on the street, this is something I KNOW I CAN DO, if given the chance. My personal pursuit of happiness, failure is not in my vocabulary. Trading to me is more than just money. i really love this business. AND im really a nice person, not a jerk or troll LOL

Which broker do you use? I can't help but feel that your posts are oozing with a "TROLL" vibe. Post a screenshot of your PnL.
