Paper Trading - Best Site?

whats the best site for paper trading..needs to be across asset classes (bonds, options, futures, forex, etc)

I want to have one admin (who executes all trades) and then allow everyone else to login to view portfolio and history with a login

Any ideas?

Thinkorswim runs a decent paper trading platform. Keep in mind that you are on a 20 min delay.

I've also heard from others that optionsXpress (it is advertised in the above banner as I type this) uses a good paper trading platform.

In 1976, James Hunt broke the sound barrier through Eau Rouge only to retire before the event finished... following the race he had sex with three Belgian nurses at the clubhouse near La Source.

kbluearmor7Yep...thinkorwswim. But not free.

The paper trading is free. You don't have to complete the registration process by funding an account to paper trade. Once you have a user name and password you can go straight to downloading the client without funding it.

Unless things have changed.

iNoobYou could try contacting thinkorswim support and request that you get live data to "test" out of the platform. It worked for me.

I currently have a ToS live account, but it would be awesome to have a live data paper account. Gonna call their Toronto office.

I win here, I win there...

I think you can paper trade on TOS for free, but data is delayed. Fund a live account and it's realtime. Never been a fan of paper trading. Just trade live with one-lots. IB has way better comms than TOS, but it's $10,000 as opposed to $3,500 minimum deposit. IB also offers more products, international stuff, VIX futures, etc.

Its fake money...so there's never going to be 3500 in the account and you can always get real time quotes from other sources
