Anybody applied to this year's Global Trader programme and has been successfully shortlisted? No feedback yet on my application and noticed recently applications were closed. I wonder how they will conduct the interviews and trading days...
Same here. I thought i had a pretty strong resume for the role (currently commods derivatives trader at bank), at least worth a first phone call, but haven't heard anything. Interestingly their "Regional Talent Acquisition Manager" sent me a message on linkedin last week asking if i'd be interested in applying for the role... even though i applied a month ago haha... i guess that means they're still looking for applicants though.

That’s interesting.. do they normally do this? If not, they must be really short on applicants this time round.

Been a while, knowledge is pre-covid. They had a list of questions and possibly phone interviews with certain people. Then fly in for a superday in one of offices, Houston for USA folks. 3-4 rounds of 2 people interviews, if chosen you get to get to Geneva for full-on trading competition.
Pretty sure the person in the bank will get a call soon. Also its better to be directly linked to those linkedin people than just applying online.
Make sure you read the website for the application there is "super key criteria" for it...."must be super flexible, location does not matter, willing to move/trade whatever tomorrow". If you do not show that you will not get considered at all.

Can confirm interviews are taking place this week, leading up to assessment weekend in April.
Based in Singapore. Received a call from HR today and scheduled interview on Saturday. Online interview consisted of 2 x 45 min interviews each with 2 traders from various desks/products.

Yep first round interviews happened last weekend, I understand it was global, I was part of the Singapore batch. Haven't heard anything back as of yet for 2nd rounds, has anyone else involved heard anything?
Same experience with the videoconference first round, has anyone heard back on the Geneva second round?
Got a email for second round. They said it’s a two day trading simulation, does anyone know what is it like? There’s not a lot of information online
