What should I do to prepare for S&T SA?

I will be an S&T SA this summer and was wondering what I should be doing between now and then to prepare, if anything at all. Obviously will continue to do things like reading the WSJ, keeping up with the markets etc, but was wondering if there's anything else I should be doing?

Keeping up with the markets should definitely be your #1 priority. Work on your excel skills (VBA if you have time) so that you could be more helpful to some traders. Otherwise, there's not much you can actually do in an S&T internship since you aren't licensed yet. Once you find out your particular desk, start reading up on the product and the buyers/sellers in that specific market. Lastly, start thinking about Sales vs Trading vs Research vs Structuring to get a better understanding of where your skillsets and interests may fit best.
