Why isn't Sales talked about as much
Title. Most sales posts are from like 2006-2014. Is it because there are less seats in Sales and most of the applicants are just talkative frat/lax bros?

It’s because 90% of the users on this forum are the risk adverse types who have more of the inclination to pursue IB/PE. The funny thing is that they pursued IB in hopes to live like the individuals represented in movies, even though those same roles being depicted are heavily influenced by real stories that take place within Sales and Trading or market facing roles.

also cuz most of us arent super active here on WSO lol - our universe revolves around IB chat
as for bro culture - mostly dead. street is overran by nerds. there are pockets here n there (I count myself lucky to be in one) but mostly the vibes just arent there anymore - and obviously u have the whole diversity shebang.....
really surprised about the "street is overran by nerds" in Sales. I would've expected that in IB or trading.
