VC/Growth Firms Analyst Classes
Thought it would be helpful to collect a comprehensive list of the VC/growth firms that take on analysts in one place. I believe General Atlantic, Insight, and Summit do, but would love to find out about others.

is summit sourcing/is there a2a?
.
ICONIQ takes 2-3 analysts a year.
Bessemer, JMI, NEA, Susquehanna, TCV, Bain Capital Ventures, Anthos, General Catalyst, Accel are some more
Bessemer takes 3 analysts (2 from the summer). Accel occasionally hires 1 analyst (often comes from the summer). Battery Ventures does not have a structured program, but hires 1-2 analysts.
My friend is at GA this summer and says they take 6 analysts (summer only, unless one of them doesn't take the return).
Does anyone know what the comp is like for these programs (mainly focused on the bigger, more built out ones such as GA, Insight, etc), Also curious as to how the training and experience / development is since less structured and rigid compared to banking Analyst programs.
Heard around 180k first year for bigger places like GA and Insight, can anyone back me up here? I know for GA specifically, a lot of the analysts go on to become associates and start at 255k at that level.
Is that really accurate? Seems a bit high if analysts at these places are primarily focused on sourcing
thoughts on this?
I heard insight is 255 for your first 6 months and it scales to 300 after that
following
Spectrum, Silversmith, Volition, Guidepost, Bain Cap Tech Opportunities, KKR NGT, Norwest to add some more.
do most of these take SAs?
many of them do. from the top of my head: iconiq, accel (sometimes), lead edge, anthos, insight, georgian partners, otpp, general atlantic, alpine partners, summit partners, spectrum equity, bessemer, SIG, level equity, the riverside, altamont, DRW...
How does pay compare to IB?
