Noticed there were threads for IB, S&T and wanted to make one for IM/ER. Opportunities for FT tend to be scarce across the board, so better to let others know when interviews are already underway.

I understand IBD is virtually done recruiting at a lot of the BB's, but do people know about IMD?
IMD at the BB's (JPM, GS) isn't hiring unless you are looking for WM. The mutual fund managers are doing interviews/finishing up superdays right now.
Do you mean "not hiring" at all or just not hiring yet in the recruiting calendar?

I had a phone call with SIG and they let me know within 48 hours that I was rejected
No I applied through my school and their site and have heard nothing
Ah, they actually did final rounds last wednesday, and then 2 this week from my understanding. I think they're about to finish up. Crossing fingers to hear back hopefully by end of this week
my connection wasn't strong enough to get the interview pull (they have a crazy obsession with UPENN and Cornell kids) but i heard exactly what you've mentioned.
Has anybody landed any FT opportunities in AM or ER thus far? I've applied to a lot of positions. Haven't heard back from most of the BBs and only a few of the smaller firms.
Can confirm I have landed a few. None at the BB's, mainly large AM's.

Same here. Not heard back from any of those big shops, should probably just focus on smaller firms.
Not sure about AM, but I've been told by multiple BBs and MMs that ER jobs will start opening in Q1 because analysts get their bonuses after year-end and leave. Once they leave, HR can figure out how many new hires they need and what they can afford with their new budget.
