i received the first round interview, but haven't finished all of them. The first round are two phone calls.

sorry i didnt hear anyone in my school receive it yet. But i guess resumes not selected would automatically go through the regular recruitment?

My friend last year said MS HK ibd interviews were super technical...
Oh that's good to know. My first phone call is half half, but there is one coming up with very senior person. I am not sure if its going to be super technical as well. Good luck everyone!

Yeah, born and raised in China, came over to NA for his undergrad, and he still got destroyed lol
omg even in the first round? I do hear ppl saying they are asked to pitch an idea in Chinese.
i asked my first interviewer after the interview, and she said she wasn't sure...

I study at a UK target too and haven't heard back. I think they are wrapping up the US candidates first

Depends on the team - mandarin is not a must have. Plenty of Koreans in the M&A team

Will more invitations be sent out? For Cycle 2? Will the candidates be considered for Cycle 3 as well?
Is this solely for US recruiting, or has the process commenced for asia-based applicants too?
More interviews will go out. The interviews are just scheduled by the assistants so it's a bit random in dates. There's a deadline by which they have to be done. The final round date is fixed however
