BAM Modeling Test (MM Case Studies)

Hey guys, I have a modeling test coming up for BAM (associate role for someone with a couple years as an IB analyst) - can anyone provide insight into their experiences taking the test (or other timed case studies / modeling tests at MMs)?

I've done one timed case study / modeling test for a large single manager and was asked to build a quarterly three statement projection model / speak to an investment thesis for the provided company, however I know the process is likely different at a MM.

Any insight that can be provided would be much appreciated.

At one interview, all I had to do was build out a 3 statement model where some cells were prefilled and I just had to fill the rest out. I'm pretty sure they stole it from P72. Stick pitches weren't related to the model, more names I was covering and why long or short.

At Citadel back a few years ago, the analyst modeling portion was ~4 hours with last 4 quarters' worth of press releases, 10-Q, 10-K, and transcripts . You had to build out a basic model (maybe just IS + basic CF statement), write up a thesis (a couple pages with rec, price target, catalysts, etc), and pitch to the team or maybe just one or two people. Not sure what it's like now.

I had a post about it here as well https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/citadel-second-rounds-modeling-e…
