Blackrock SA Alternative Investments Interview
Hi guys, just got an invite for a hirevue for the SA alternative investments position at BlackRock. Does anyone have an idea of what kind of technicals to expect for this position/have any experience interviewing at BlackRock? Thanks a lot

I got an invite today as well, but I already accepted an offer with another firm. I guarantee that the hirevue will be entirely behavioral as most of them are. But just in case, I would definitely have a couple pitches prepared. Given that it is alternatives, maybe a pair trade or a convertible arbitrage investment.

Hey, I had a interview for alternatives-baa in Seattle. It was over hirevue, but basically a skype interview since it was with a member of the firm. So this might be different from your experience! But I was not asked any technical questions. Only the basic resume and what do I do to keep up on current events questions. Now, I'm waiting to hear about a super day that they said they'd let me know about sometime this week.... Good luck!
