Check ib cover letter
I realized that this might be a better forum to ask my question. Therefore, can you guys critisize my cover letter draft for a spring week internship?
Edit: http://docdro.id/nsinXMN (That's the new version)

Career Resources
Hi, I think it's quite good, but try to be more coincise and structured, they will receive thousands of letters. You've done nice experiences, but I would spend less time on them (they have your resume as well) and I would focus more on why IB and why this company. Avoid the sentence "I've developed comprehensive etc", trust me. - introduction and where you have heard about the opportunity 2/3 sentences - what you've done in the past 3/4 sentences - why IB 3/4 sentences - why this bank 3/4 sentences Max 400/500 words and no more than one page
Agree with everything above. Max 1 page. Goldman limits you to 300 words so it might be a best practice to try and keep it that concise. I agree with everything PatrickBateman1 says--spend more time on why the company (other than the M&I generic line "working environment"). Reference specific people and deals, and as also mentioned above, don't go too in-depth with anything on your resume.
Best of luck!
Thanks for all the help! I just updated my cover letter. Here you can find the updated version: http://docdro.id/nsinXMN
I will appreciate any advice! I'm all aware of the English issues, but I'm more concerned about the content right now
I just updated it and worked on my language.
Here it is: http://docdro.id/nsinXMN
I still do not understand why you have chosen to apply for that bank. It's too generic, should be more personal
I will be applying to CS. Is it ok if I mention their sponsors department, even when I'm only applying for their spring week?
