Does M. Klein sponsor international students?
Saw an ex-analyst on LinkedIn who was an international student, but couldn't find anything about whether MKC actually sponsors visas. Any useful info would be great, thx.

Bump. Would also love to know other similar firms' (Ducera, Dyal etc.) policies on this.
I don’t think you’ll get a definite answer here since their analyst class is so small. But one thing to note is that sometimes these small shops might be more willing to go above and beyond to sponsor you (even for gc) if you’re good enough and they really like you
Yes. I can confirm that M. Klein sponsors. It's a small firm so you take up sponsorship details with management after getting an offer, but they will offer and sponsor international students.
can confirm, but you have to be really really good tho to get an offer as an international
Hey OP here, thanks for confirming, appreciate it. Also does anyone have definitive or first-hand insight into their interviews (MKC)? Especially on the technical side, cus I've seen contradictory answers on other threads. Thank you
Don’t remember a lot of details but I think it was first round then superday this year. No networking allowed as of this year but they did offer coffee chats at my school.
Both rounds were very technical to my knowledge. M Klein is a very technical bank and recruits in around late Feb/early March, well before everyone else, so many people aren’t fully ready for their interviews yet.
It is important to note that M Klein (at least 2 years ago) hires only from 4 schools: Harvard, Penn, UChicago, and Michigan. I think it was ~2-3 kids from each school. The school list might have expanded last year but I wouldn’t know (though they did mention they may start considering Columbia, Yale when I spoke to them).
Hey, found this description on PitchBook:
"Founded in 2012, M. Klein & Company is a merchant banking and strategic advisory firm headquartered in New York City, New York. The firm is focused solely on providing advice on transactions for large companies and acts as an adviser to chief executive officers, the board of directors, institutional investors, and governments. The firm advises on a wide range of issues apart from mergers, including corporate governance, activism, crisis management, litigation, and arbitration."
How much of the bolded stuff do they actually do these days; I couldn't find anyone talking about that, AT ALL. What would that kind of work entail on the IBD side, are there any examples of M Klein & Co. actually doing this? Input would be noice.
