Equity Research Final Round - Quarterly Results Write-up

Hello!

I have an upcoming final round interview for an ER shop that is designating a 1-1.5 hour time frame with which I will be asked to do a write-up on a company's quarterly results. I was wondering if any of you have had experience with something like this in the past? I assume a lot of companies do something similar and was wondering how to best prepare for this. Is there a list of A,B,C, & D that companies are looking for you to hit on? Any insight or examples that could be provided would be a huge help.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Send you what you need for the interview. PM me if you have specific questions.

I have an upcoming Equity Research interview as well. Could you please send me this information? Appreciate the help

Hi, I saw your posting. I am a newbie trying to learn entry to ER (interview content might be a good place to start). If that's ok, I would really appreciate if you can also send me as well. Thanks

Here is the link to a more up to date thread, with a ridiculous amount of useful information:

Most of the time, analysts won't look pass the first two pages. You just have to focus on the main summary (on the first page) that should have 5 paragraphs.
1. Buy, Sell or Hold. At What Price? 2. Main Idea 1
3. Main Idea 2
4. Valuation
5. Risks For the second page, the investment thesis/ summary will just expand more on these five main paragraphs.

Message me if you have any other questions.
