I've heard from former colleagues working in different HL groups that their Dallas office is a mess. They cover healthcare there primarily. They burned through 1 or 2 complete analyst and associate classes and are in the process of rebuilding. 100+ plus hour weeks were the norm. Not sure about exit ops.

Can also confirm this. People have even left to 'downgrade' banks. That group is a complete mess and a sweatshop. Everything terrible about banking can be found in that team

Can confirm, but will caveat.

A majority of what is being said about the group above is specific to the healthcare team, as far as analyst turnover and work hours go.

The other two M&A groups there are OFS and Consumer, which have great cultures.

I have heard from members of two teams that their bonus is above street, and I know for sure that pay is equal to what they pay in NYC, with TX cost of living.

I imagine the RX is pretty grueling but couldn't say for certain, and same for the Valuation and Transaction Advisory Services groups.
