Jefferies D&I Career Switch Program

This was a new program released by Jefferies for candidates with 1-5 years of research or non-research experience to switch their careers to Equity Research while being trained at the firm.

Applications had closed on October 29th, has anyone heard back to schedule an interview?

What’s Jefferies ER reputation, hours and comp structure? Interesting that they have the capital to train non-finance people. I missed this program but hopefully they'll have it next year as well.

Did anyone else hear back? I was selected for a superday.

I came across this program with probably a couple of days left to apply. Sounds like a great opportunity to break into the industry for those with non-finance/non-traditional backgrounds.

Good luck to all! :)

Hi! I was wondering if this opportunity is paid? I understand there is the opportunity to join the firm at the end of the program, but is the program itself paid?

Not sure if the London office was included in this for this year. I can't seem to remember what other offices were included besides Boston, NYC, and Nashville.

I applied. I’m not diverse in an ethnic sense but diverse in other ways. How much do 1 year associates in the program make? I come from ECM and make 125k as a second year analyst.
