Hey prashanthpoduval, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:

If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...

Did my pymetrics, got a hirevue the next day. Finished my hirevue about 2 days ago, still waiting as well!

Hey, did you find any updates on your account? for me the the job posting date kept changing. It changed thrice till today . Is this some kind of Indicator ?

Oct 23, 2019

Not quite sure. I'm still being put "under consideration" like you guys are right now

Oct 18, 2019

My application still shows under Consideration

Oct 19, 2019

Yes, Mine too there has been no update as of now. As i mentioned before the only significant changes that were made on my profile were the changes in the job posting date.

Oct 23, 2019

Does anyone have connection's with any of the higher up's at J.P Morgan? Even the slightest bit of information helps.

Oct 24, 2019

still no news?

Oct 24, 2019

Nope, nothing from my side.

Oct 24, 2019

dont think they run something for ft this year, much more SAs this summer + lower conversion rates as the business is worried about recession

Oct 24, 2019

for Germany, yes (no FT /processapplication for Frankfurt)
for London, they will probably have some free spots (IBD) but probably less than usual

@paneuropeanmonkey lower conversion rates was primarily for S&T, associate level - not sure about IBD SA

Oct 24, 2019

Was too, 30-50% for IBD SA LDN. Friend was there

Friends of mine were invited to ACs but for other divisions. Hadn't heard anything for IB. I applied early September and I am still "under consideration". Any news?

Oct 25, 2019

Same here, did hirevue over a month ago and no news yet

Oct 25, 2019

Same here, but I applied towards the end of September. From what I understand by reading other discussion's is on average they could take 3 months to respond. People who applied in July got their invites for Superday in October.

Guys, any news?

Oct 29, 2019

Nope, nothing from my side. Its about a month now since I heard back.

Oct 29, 2019

nothing yet, application is now also closed even though deadline was end of november; so i guess they review all apps at once and then invited to the few AC they have (if any)

Oct 29, 2019

May I ask , but how did you know the applications are closed?

Oct 29, 2019

Thanks, I just rechecked to confirm and as you mentioned they have closed the applications.

Oct 29, 2019

Still under consideration when I've also been referred from an ED. Don't know what to say tbh, I am a bit worried rn...

Oct 29, 2019

Relax mate! things will be fine.

Hey everyone! In the aforementioned comments it was pointed out that the applications are now closed, but as I logged into my application today ; it still shows JOB STATUS: ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. Any idea when there would be a subsequent update on our profiles ?

Oct 31, 2019

Hey Guys,

I was Summer Analyst this year in London and the conversion rate was indeed just 30-50% and even 0% for some teams. HR told me that they don't hire any FT even if not all SA with offer accept (cost they plan to cut the volume hiring they made the last years). Just if a significant amount of SA don't accept they will maybe run 1 AC. That is why you all didn't hear back yet. For any other infos regarding JPM you can just PM me :)

So is it possible we are all knocked out? Don't they send a rejection letter ?

SA recruiting will run as usual or there has also been some changes?

Nov 1, 2019

SA recruitment is running as usual, it seems there has been some developments for SA as indicated on other forums.

Oct 31, 2019

Yes, rejections will be send out bundled at the very end of the process and not before

Oct 31, 2019

Damn! I understand. Thanks for the insight mate. So on your personal opinion is it better we start looking elsewhere and drop this whole thing?

Oct 31, 2019

Yes.

Oct 31, 2019

Okay! So let's think this through rationally J.P Morgan makes us go through the ordeal of taking the Pymetrics exam followed by a video interview. Just to send us a rejection letter. I don't find that very plausible. Feel free to correct me on this one.

Nov 1, 2019

Do you think they care? Hint: No

Nov 1, 2019

okay!

Oct 31, 2019

they probably opened-up the application doors if they decide to hold an AC; they dont know how many SA accept their offers in August so it is best practice to have a back-up candidate pool for FT.

Makes sense, also I am little new to the whole thing. Mind elaborating on what an "AC" is ?

Nov 1, 2019

It seems there has been some updates for those who applied for the SA positions.

As said above just stop spamming this thread, they do not recruit for FT. It has long been public information.

Try to apply next year again as this year is not going to happen, I am sorry. As I have explained above. Or try to apply for the SA program

Nov 3, 2019

Hey everyone ! Thanks for opening my eyes to the fact that there won't be any FT roles this time around. I came off as overly optimistic, but thanks again everyone for all the help.
