Lateral Cold Emailing

Hi all,

I am currently in the process of lateraling out of my job. I've contacted friends I have at banks, as well as sent out a ton of online apps. As for the online apps where I have no contacts, I was wondering who the best person to reach out to for a cold email would be? I figured someone at the analyst-level would not be the best given their lack of pull, as well as being the busiest. Associates seem like good people to reach out to as they are more approachable than senior bankers but have more pull than analysts. I also have considered reaching out to more senior level people, as they might be more old-fashioned and respect the grind. Honestly, I'm clueless, so if anyone has a strong opinion, please chime in.
