A year ago, I was told I'd receive my signing bonus in April. My check was dated April 30...reached me some time in May.
I received mine within a month of signing. Call HR and confirm if they have your correct address. There really isn't much downside, if they promised you a check by a certain date, they really should have sent it out.

Let me just preface this post with " I hate to beat a dead horse"! I need some advice:
I am starting a BB in about 2.5 weeks and I haven't received my signing bonus yet. Moving to NYC is expensive and I really need that before I can move. I spoke with HR once and she said I had to redo some paperwork to be paid by this week. That day has passed and I don't want to seem desperate or anything, when should I email again and how can I be professional about it. I don't want to come of shitty or like bitch where's my money!
Any guidance will be helpful.
Contact payroll directly. I had my shop do the same with me - they kept delaying it every week. I contacted Payroll directly and I got my signing bonus soon after.
