Rothschild analysts have been paid
From efinancialcareers.com, June 18th:
"Analyst bonus season is very fast approaching. Rothschild has initiated the excitement, and it appears to be paying handsomely.
Based on figures we have elicited in the past, the average third year bonus for an M&A analyst at a first tier house in 2009 was anything from £30-£60k.
According to our sources, Rothschild’s third year analysts have just been paid anything from £50-£65k.
Even better, Rothschild also appears to have increased its salaries. To mark their ascension from analyst to associate, analysts have allegedly had their base pay ramped up from £50k to £70k. In days of yore (2009), recruiters claim they would have had it increased to £62k.
“People at Rothschild seem to be very happy,” muses one recruiter. "
That's damn good for a house that's not as well known for M&A.
Rothschild is a solid M&A house else where, especially in EMEA. Just not in the U.S.
yep here in Europe it is considered as an elite boutique with always a lot of deals
