Updata Partners - Insights?
Can anyone provide some insight on Updata Partners, a VC/PE firm with about $500MM AUM? They have an internship posting at my school.

Does anyone have any info on Updata Parnters VC, specifically the exit ops for an associate. Apparently they have ~500mm AUM - it's their venture capital fund, but I guess you could call it growth PE.
I'm looking at an associate position, which looks to be heavy on the deal sourcing. I've read through the forums and seen the pros/cons on deal sourcing, but does anyone have any idea on exit ops from a smaller fund like Updata?
Also, coming from a corporate finance leadership program background (GE FMP/J&J level), would it be better to move to a deal sourcing role or finish the leadership program in the eyes of top b-schools?
Is growth PE the same as growth equity? Or is GE a more vague term? If there is a difference what is it?

The associate position i saw a posting for said there was a lot of sourcing.

a bunch of sourcing (which growth pe doesn't), very smart guys. Don;t know about the pay but probably in line with other growth pe guys as well
