Which bank is most accepting to Trump supporters?

It seems like the world hates on Trump. I hear stories about being ostracized by fellow workers just by saying that you are a Trump supporter. I hear a story about a McKinsey consultant who was fired for saying that.

I'd like to work for an investment bank one day and I am a little intimidated by this whole situation. Will I be in trouble by saying I am a Trump supporter? If a Trump supporter is to work at an investment bank, which bank offers the best chance of survival?

Why do you support DJT? I'm not not remotely politically liberal, but I have a hard time understanding Trump supporters with brains. If you want to work on the street, you have to be smart. People won't ostracize you because of the Trump support itself, but because of what supporting Trump says about your character and intellect. So, focus instead on finding banks that will take people with weak morality and an abject lack of intelligence (that's just an obnoxious barb... seriously though why the hell are you a Trump supporter...?)

I understand your query, it does seem like you would quickly be shown the door if you even say one pro-Trump statement at some companies. Many of us have strong opinions, especially about politics, but the workplace is not the place to get on your soapbox. Keep work as a place to do that work .

I love the smug self righteousness of people who finally discovered that politics is a fucked mess of a giant ass fucking conga line. People who think Trump is some new way out in left field thing they are just too blind to history to see this same shit has been going on since the beginning of time. Today is no different than yesterday or the week before that or the year before etc. It's just a different blowhard in the office for a different group of self satisified idiots to whine and complain about. I had family members who would whine about Obama regardless of what he did, I agree the dude was a douche who thought he was better than everyone but guess what. We have a new douche who thinks he is better than everyone. Like I said, its just a new blowhard in the chair for the time being.

Edit: If someone at McKinsey was really fired for that he would have a huge lawsuit payout coming. You can't fire people for political beliefs in America, that is a protected class.

A resume isn't a place for political stance, either way you lean. The only exception i would make is if you were working in some sort of campaign, in which case i'd definitely include it but leave it to your contributions and not your beliefs.

Personal Opinion: If someone felt so strongly about a politician that they wrote about it on their resume, i know they'd never shut up about politics in the office. No-one wants to sit next to someone that is constantly going on about politics, even if they agree with them.

I think it's more about what your group you're in. I know a lot of Trump supporters across the Street (junior level guys mostly, like SAs and analysts) and some of their bosses are pretty pro-Trump and talk about him positively and whatever, and others are in groups/cubicle circles where the usual office chit chat often involves shitting on whatever Trump just did/said.

Try networking at Trump rallies?
