Interview
Happiness (Pros)

The interview process moved very quickly, and the overall recruiting timeline was efficient. Communication and scheduling were handled promptly, which made the process feel well organized from a timing perspective.

Sadness (Cons)

The attitude and level of engagement of some interviewers were disappointing. During one of the interviews, the interviewer appeared to be working on other tasks throughout the conversation and did not seem fully attentive to my responses. This made the interview experience feel unprofessional and gave the impression that the candidate's time and effort were not being fully respected.
Interview Questions
One of the most difficult and unexpected questions was to solve, on the spot, a linear stochastic differential equation with time-varying coefficients:

dX_t = a(t)X_t dt + b(t)dW_t.

What made the question particularly frustrating was that the interviewer did not seem interested in hearing my reasoning or approach. I tried to explain the derivation and the intuition behind the solution, but the interviewer appeared to be waiting only for the final calculated result, almost as if the exercise were purely a test of mechanical computation rather than mathematical reasoning.
