Did not intern there - so was a full-time lateral position. Had one phone call which ended up being an informal interview. Then had 2 zoom interviews followed by a super day which was also only 2 zoom interviews. No pure techincals, but asked details about my summer internship project and experiences. Also had big emphasis on interest in the industry.

Interview
I reached out to a recruiter who put me in touch with a group. I did two coffee chats, an online skills assessment and hirevue-type recorded interview, and got a superday invite.

The skills assessment was the same as described when you search the name(s) online. The hirevue-type recorded responses were straightforward, same as any others (e.g., why UBS, your strengths). The superday was three 30-minute interviews (MD and above) focused on behaviorals/fit with very light technicals (e.g., valuation methods, some considerations for the industry group).

Interview
I applied on the career website and received an email to schedule a phone interview within a couple of weeks. The phone interview was more of a screening to get to know candidates with the opportunity to ask questions to the interviewer. You should hear back about scheduling the next round within about a week or so. The next round was a 1 on 1 interview (supposed to be 2 interviewers but one could not make it). This consisted mainly of behavioral questions, extremely similar to many you would hear in the usual Wealth Management Interview. Why UBS, Name a time you encountered adversity, Talk about a time you worked on a team, etc. After this, I heard back the following week that I did not make it to the next round.
Interview Questions
Why UBS?
Explain a time you experienced adversity and how did you overcome it?
