2nd year Corporate analyst seeking career advice
Hi all,
I am coming to the end of a 2 year rotation program at JPMC(corporate financial analysis and program management) and I’m seeking a career in Asset Management/research. I would really appreciate if those with a Cfa and/or M.B.A. share this career perspective on how it has supplemented their careers. In the short term future I’m seeking an investment analyst role before deciding what in AM I want to pursue.

Hi Oldyeller2018, hope I can help. Do any of these links cover what you're looking for:
Or maybe the following WSO members have something to say: lappd @zerojb34" @Maria123456"
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Hey WSO Monkey Bot,

Not WSO MB, but from other posts, I think His background is in coding/writing scripts, very helpful and knowledgeable guy in a lot of different areas on this forum
Certifiedpartyanimal,
Good to know. what I’m interested in sowing with a potential cfa is working in the endowment/ foundation sector. Not exactly sure how to get there tho. Lol
I have a CAIA (not all that difficult to get), and don't think it changed much, and don't think a CFA is the end all be all either (although sometimes required at higher levels, more for show, imo).
MBA is a different ball game because you are actually networking into a different role.
