Which positions are the most interesting? I'm trying to break into PE, and am interning at LMM IB this Summer. Would taking a BLK Alternative Investing offer be better than LMM IB?

Depends on the team you're placed on, their alternatives biz is very broad. BLK alternatives has direct PE teams, and FoFs. The direct PE teams are good and worth it over IB IMO. They also have a good infrastructure PE group. Try to avoid their PEP team if PE FoF is not your preference.
