I had a phone interview with them last week. Tried to find some info about them on here but couldnt find much to be honest
How did the interview go? Was it for an internship, and if so which group?
These are asset managers aren't they? Which office?
Yeah, changed the forum to AM. I didn't apply to a specific location/group, but I'm looking to be in NYC, Boston, or DC. I think they also manage mutual funds/hedge funds so not sure how that works
I have heard extremely good things about the brain power of people that work there and the way they treat employees. Don't know about returns though
Does anyone know if they're more geared towards individual/private clients, or institutional?

I was recently offered a first round phone interview with Brown Advisory for next week. I couldn't find too much info about Brown Advisory outside of their website, so I was wondering if anyone here has had any experiences with the firm or has any insight that might be helpful?

I networked a little bit with them a few weeks ago. From what I've gleaned it seems the culture is pretty team-oriented and supportive (during superday they'll actually have you do one of the interviews as a group of 3). They also have a pretty big emphasis on "sustainable investing", meaning they try to make sure their investments intersect with their clients' moral values. I did, however, network only with their AM group so PE/Energy investments may be different.
Thanks for the help guys. Interview went well, it does seem like they're big on team-oriented work, flat structure, and sustainable investing. They're sending out superday invites sometime early this week.
